Battlestar galactica

i want to start a colony far away in space
free from petty differences like creed, beliefs and race
our citizens will stand united in one strong community
an equal opportunity world to function oh so peacefully

escape this rock called earth, cause if you can't tell its dying
ressources depleting and your goverment is lying.
but don't you worry, average joe, just keep on cutting trees
another hundred years you'll be a species on its knees!

pollute the ocean, destroy the ozone,
its not our responsability so who gives a shit, right? NO!
cut our rainforests, destroy our habitats,
just so long as you maintain your hefty profit, No!

i'm calling out to you (you!) in all regions of this planet
we're the ones who fucked it up now its our job to save it
i'm asking you (you!) before it gets too late!
we need to clean up our act and stop our planets fate!

so i'm going to space! the only alternative
create peaceful colonies where only peaceful people live
start again! ho! and show some more humanity!
its time to prove we humans can create a coexsistant society!
